The magazine Who Cares has created a Go Fund Me campaign for a special COVID-19 edition to help seniors and caregivers access information and services in the community. Download a copy of this edition here.
Imagine not having access to the internet or not knowing what information to trust. As things are moving quickly and local information about changes to community services is being shared on websites and social media, many seniors are left struggling to find information to help them stay safe at home.
At this time, seniors and their caregivers need easy, accessible and trustworthy information at their fingertips more than ever. We know who to trust and we have complied a 16-page COVID-19 special edition from reliable community resources to help you stay well, stay safe and stay home.
This magazine is normally funded on a cost recovery basis through advertising sales. However, with so many businesses closed due to the pandemic, we have decided to publish this edition with minimal advertising support, but there is a large funding shortfall which limits distribution. A Go Fund Me campaign has been created to raise funds to help share this important information with as many people as possible. All revenue goes directly back into printing and distribution.
We are hopeful that people such as yourself will see the need and want to help with a financial donation to show you are one who cares too.
No donation is too small. Even if it covers the cost of a few stamps to send copies to seniors on the mailing list, your gift will be put to good use.
